In coming June, Thai people will get a golden chance to shop, eat, travel and stay in hotels with services of the lowest price than ever before as private business in tourism sector conciliates with the government to hold a fair which gathers travel business entrepreneurs bringing their products and offering discounts from 10-80%.

This promotional project intended to stimulate domestic travel among Thai people during the low-season and compensate the loss of foreign arrivals as a result of the war in Iraq and Sars outbreak.

Several promotions are launched to enliven Thailand's tourist sector. The first project to launch in June is eco-tour package discounts. The Tourism authority of Thailand in collaboration with eco-tour association has organized 7 routes of eco-tour, agro-tour, adventure and soft adventure tour as well as health and spa packages which will be operated every week-end through the whole month. Customer can buy any of these packages with 20-40% off the full price.

The other project in June is the "Amazing Thailand Grand sale Service 2003" in which 900 partners including big department stores, shops, restaurants, hotels and other private businesses participate, offering 10-80% discounts.

And the third project coming to feast the traveling-lovers is the "Thailand Tour Free Market Fair" which gathers 400 booths of hotels, airlines, tour operators, famous restaurants around Bangkok, and many other businesses bringing with them their special offers and discounts.

Revenue from this fair is estimated to be even higher than the last session which could earn 250 million baht.
