Thailand: attractive
destination for female visitors

Tourism industry in Thailand found
a strong growth of female tourists' arrival to the country,
exceeding to 8.21% which accounts for 4,372,085 compared to an
increase of 6.73% in male visitors which accounts for 6,426,982. It
is said that the growth is a great success following the policy
promoting products targeted more at women such as shopping, health,
and culture. Together, Thailand's image as a stable and peaceful
country as well as service of high-quality, it continues to draws a
number of visitors.
It is notable that arrivals from
all regions showed augmentation, particularly from East Asia, Europe
the Americas, South East Asia, and the Middle East, with the East
Asia the largest source of visitors.
Despite global volatility, the
growth of tourism industry has given the good sign for further
efforts in leading Thailand to be "Tourism Capital of
Asia" within three years according to Tourism Authority of
Thailand's promoting campaign.
