Thailand bars Cambodian
politician

The authorities of Thailand have
refused the entry to the Cambodia's opposition party leader, Sam
Rainsy.
Arriving in Bangkok on a due to
attend the press conference where he was expected to criticize the
political deadlock in Cambodia, Sam Ransy was detained briefly at
Bangkok airport by Thai officials before flying to Paris instead.
A Thai Foreign Ministry spokesman
said his government thought it would be inappropriate for Mr. Rainsy
to talk about his country's politics during a visit to Thailand.
