According to TTG Asia, the provider of this award, the statistics and destination's track record tell that Thailand is the most mentioned as the dreaming destination among tourists. More importantly, TTG Asia said that Thailand has received such honor due to its effective management which offers a quality and good service associated with creative and initiative marketing supported by the government which attracts tourism investment. The criteria of the country to be honored includes statistic, consistently delivered quality, good service, value, and diversity; and Thailand has absolutely met all that, becoming proudly then the vanguard of tourist destinations in the world.
