This exciting tour combines a visit to some of
Thailand's most famous religious and historic sites with a chance to observe the traditional lifestyle of the people outside the capital. The day begins with cruising on a beautiful
"Tanoan Utahan" road to visit Phuttamonton, an important religious site built by the government to celebrate the 2500th year of the existence of Buddhism. Then continue onto the Don Wai Market which is a neighborhood of an old riverside community and feast on a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon, pay homage to
Nakhonprathom's most famous icon and one of the country's greatest Buddhist architectural achievement, Phra Pathom Chedi, the biggest Chedi in Thailand and the tallest of its kind in the world before continuing on to Sanam Chan Palace and Ya-Le Monument. The magnificent palace was constructed by King Rama VI in 1907 whereas the monument is the
king's dedication to his favorite pet dog by the name of Ya-Le. Then wrap up the day with a stop at the Thai Human Imagery Museum,
Thailand's finest wax museum exhibiting a number of life-sized famous Thai figures in history. The displays are divided into four sections, namely
"The Great Buddhist Monks", "Former Kings of the Chakri
Dynasty", "One side of Thai Life", and
"Playing Chess".
